BUILD A 3D METAL OBJECT USING LASER POWDER BED FUSION

We design the part on the computer, choose a powder metal alloy to make it, and then program the machine to do the rest:

1. Apply a thin layer of powder on the build surface
2. Fuse the particles with a laser forming a cross section of the part
3. Apply a new layer of powder on top
4. Repeat until the piece is complete.
